KS Update #2: Using community feedback

New Website

Two weeks since the Bridge6 was successfully funded - our new webstore/website is now live and you can pre-order all our products at https://www.piratemidi.com/

It's a work in progress, with more features (blog, videos etc) coming soon. But for now, it's a funtioning webstore. So if you have some friends who missed out on backing the campaign - go let them know!

ADDING-ON TO YOUR EXISTING PLEDGE

If you are adding products to an existing Kickstarter order there is a checkbox so that we can link your orders together (they will ship at the same time) and for most of the smaller items (not the Bridge controllers) we will refund the shipping immediately once your Kickstarter order has been confirmed and linked.

The Bridge controllers are larger boxes and will require the extra shipping cost.

ADAPTORS & ACCESSORIES

Cable adaptors are available on the website for pre-order along with protective covers, T-shirts, and even enamel pins (if you really want a specific design, you can purchase it and be certain!)

FLEXIHUB

The Flexihub is not yet ready for pre-order. We need to do some more costing for final assembly first. Look out for more info in the coming weeks.

First Test of Community Engagement

In our Facebook group this week, there has been a lot of discussion! We made a slight design change to the Bridge6 in regard to the connectors on the back - hoping to align all our products with a single, simple connector. A 3.5mm TRS jack. This was in view of future products, such as the FlexiHub.

This revision was met with quite a lot of feedback, and although there was support on both sides (for and against) we decided to cancel the revision and keep the connectors the same as originally planned.

Thank you for giving your feedback and making sure that the Bridge6 becomes the best MIDI controller available. We promise to keep listening and keep communicating!

The physical design of the Bridge6 and Bridge4 are confirmed now. If you would like to be in the loop for future conversations about features of the pedal and the software, you can join the Facebook group now. You're also welcome to ask any questions you may have about Pirate MIDI products, or anything related to MIDI.

As always, thanks for being an awesome community of MIDI-lovers! It's really exciting to have such a great group of people backing Pirate MIDI and helping us bring MIDI products to market that are well-researched and meet your needs.

Stay Well,

Simon & Sam
